Food Engineer / Technologist

The Food Technologist at Redefine Meat is responsible for creating bench-top samples of our revolutionary plant-based New-Meat. A background in food science and a passion for food design are requirements for this challenging role, where you’ll be assisting our world-class R&D team in the organization, development, and optimization of products. You’ll be managing scale-ups and first productions of any cut of meat from the cow, including product testing, as well as assisting with the development of needed quality systems, and documentation.

Main objectives and tasks:

  • Food development in state-of-the-art R&D facilities, including:

    • Execution of R&D projects and experiments according to defined plans and protocols.

    • Analysis of experimental results, data, and preparation of summary reports.

    • Presentation of relevant results to management.

    • Work in a multidisciplinary environment.

  • Support the production of a variety of advanced food formulations.

Background and Requirements:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in food R&D facility.

  • Degree in Food Engineering/Food Sciences/Biology/Biotechnology.

  • Ability to analyze and summarize experimental results.

  • Ability to work and report in English.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
