Your challenge
Your Challenge:
- Lead the team which functions as the linking pin between IL Scale up, R&D and production plant, providing direction, guidance, and support to ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
- Support process improvements (related to product quality, efficiency, and minimal waste) through analysis, develop and implement improvement proposals.
- Collaborate with Scale up, R&D, QA, and Production teams to develop and optimize food products and processes for manufacturing scale-up.
- Implementation of equipment and new recipes.
- Oversee product trials and production runs, ensuring adherence to recipe formulations, processing parameters, and quality standards.
- Develop and execute work programs aimed at achieving company goals under tight development milestones.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes and facilities to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
What you'll need
- BSc in Food Science or related disciplines, MSc is an advantage.
- 7+ years of Industrial experience and demonstrated success in process and product development in the food industry.
- Proven track record of driving process improvement initiatives and implementing innovative solutions in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changes.
- Great problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
