Plant Manager
About The Position
Responsible for ensuring that all products in Redefine Meat EMEA are produced and delivered to our customers in the right quality at the correct cost and at the right time while assuring safety first culture and continues improvement.
Actively lead the Manufacturing organization and the rest of the Supply Chain operation in Europe.
You will be involved in developing Toolboxes, Standards, and Practices. Those will be developed and implemented in conjunction with the operations leadership in Israel. Furthermore, this role requires the setup of a Global Safety Program introduction, S&OP introduction/reinforcement, and Operation Excellence Program introduction.

Your challenge
• Build and lead the Operations team, including Production, Engineering, technology, Supply Chain, and Quality;
• Maintain a high-level view of company status and the surrounding business environment;
• Aim and maintain the highest standards based on best practices and knowledge to maximize profitability within the scope of safety, service, and quality;
• Define strategy and drive shareholder value;
• Manage and report budgets and key performance indicators appropriately;
Lead and encourage continuous improvements;
• Build & shape Redefine culture and be exemplary of the Company & factory values
Define and oversee management control systems, ensuring effective usage;
• Anticipate threats and take action to minimize risks;
• Strategic leadership;
• Drive scalable settings in operational performance based on quality, service, safety, and cost effectiveness;
• Set and review goals and key performance indicators;
• Accountable for all operation aspects based on the SQCDME approach: Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Motivation & Environment;
• Implementation of the Supply Chain function & practices in the regional (cluster) and local organizations;
• Integrated Business Planning (advance S&OP) Deployment;
• Business Owner for Supply Chain IT tools;
• Support the Country Organization Blue Print;
• People management; succession planning preparation; talent management.
What you'll need
• 10 + years in a senior level Operational/Supply Chain role;
• Prior experience in the food industry in a high-growth context is essential; chilled and frozen food is a bonus;
• Proven people management and leadership experience, good communication skills;
• Knowledge of HACCP;
• Coaching, mentoring, and leadership;
• Broad business knowledge;
• Drive for innovation and agile mindset;
• Commercially aware and Customer focused;
• Enforces business compliance;
• Self-starting and self-sufficient;
• Entrepreneurial;
• Adaptable in a fast-paced business growing environment;
• Education at Bachelor / Master degree in relevant area (nutrition, engineering, science or supply chain);
• Factory management with a proven transformation/improvement track record.
