Your challenge
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for independently carrying out and supervising planned maintenance, inspection, and repair work in various fields, including control, electrical, refrigeration, processing/packaging, control technology, pneumatics, and mechanical. You will be part of the Technical Service and report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Maintaining and repairing machines and installations within various departments in the aforementioned fields.
- Requesting materials within agreed frameworks.
- Inspecting installations based on work orders, immediately resolving deviations, and translating findings into work orders.
- Initiating Industrial Automation for Redefine Meat Best.
- Registering work performed and archiving machine documents.
- Preparing/adjusting drawings and diagrams, ensuring temporary and permanent archiving.
- Make proposals for improvements to equipment, working environment, working conditions, and preventive maintenance.
- Contributions to replacement projects.
- Analyzing identified deviations, taking risk-mitigating measures, and reporting to promote safety.
- Maintain daily internal contact with colleagues from TD, Production, and third parties.
- Stay informed of technological developments and innovations.
- Giving instructions to colleagues and users and, if necessary, compiling technical explanations.
What you'll need
- Completed secondary education with a technical background in electrical and mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and PLC (industrial automation).
- Relevant work experience in a similar position.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or English.
- Knowledge of HACCP.
- Interest in TD processes and maintenance systems.
