Your challenge

As Maintenance Work Planner, you will be part of the Technical Service and report to the Maintenance & Engineering Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for efficient work preparation, deployment, and implementation planning of all maintenance work, and strive for maximum use of resources and production equipment, with the aim of achieving optimal production results. In addition, you will provide functional management to shift and maintenance technicians.

Responsibilities:

  • Developing, implementing, securing, and continuously improving internal and external work preparation processes within safety and quality requirements.
  • Gatekeeping regarding work requests, preparing work, purchasing technical materials, and management of maintenance contracts.
  • Preparing cost calculations for work type modification and preventive maintenance.
  • Drawing up preventive implementation plans in collaboration with supply chain/planning.
  • Monitor the efficiency of the execution of planned work, report any work not carried out, and replan/improve.
  • Responsible for stock management of technical materials.
  • Enforce company regulations, policies, and agreements, and comply with absenteeism due to illness procedures.
  • Participation in on-call service for technical support


What you'll need

  • MBO (working and thinking level) Technical education in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering or obtained through at least 5 years of experience.
  • Relevant work experience in a technical role (such as Maintenance Technician) within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with work preparation and planning at production units – significant advantage.
  • Experience with maintenance programs.
  • Experience in food production is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills at every level within the organization.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement - TPM, Lean.
  • Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, IFS, and Arbo – a plus.
  • Affinity with the world of “New Meat”
