PREPARATION

Grill the Burger:

  1. Heat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. Place the burger patties on the hot grill and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping occasionally for even cooking.
  3. Lightly toast the burger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until warm with slight grill marks.

Prepare the Coleslaw:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the chopped cabbage and grated carrots.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to let the flavours blend.

Assemble the Burger:

  1. Spread mayonnaise and mustard on the buns.
  2. Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, onion, and pickles.
  3. Add the grilled burger patty and top with ketchup to taste.

Serve:

Serve the burger alongside the crispy coleslaw for the perfect balance of smoky, creamy, and crunchy flavours.

Enjoy!
