PREPARATION

Prepare the Sausages: 

  1. Heat the grill to medium-high heat. 
  2. Place the Bratwurst sausages on the grill. 
  3. Turn the sausages occasionally to ensure even cooking on all sides. 
  4. Grill for about 8 minutes, until the sausages are golden brown. 

Prepare the Potato Salad: 

  1. In a pan, heat a little olive oil and sauté the diced onion until lightly golden. 
  2. If the potatoes are still warm, let them cool slightly. If they’re cold, you can use them as is. 
  3. Cut the boiled potatoes into quarters or halves, depending on their size. 
  4. In a large bowl, mix the cut potatoes with the sautéed onion and chopped pickles. 
  5. Season with olive oil, salt, and pepper to taste, and gently mix. 
  6. Sprinkle chopped chives on top and mix lightly. 
  7. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to blend. 

Serve: 

Arrange the Bratwurst sausages alongside the potato salad and serve with quality mustard.
