Redifine burger with blue cheese and caramelized pears
Redifine burger with blue cheese and caramelized pears

  1. Carmelized the pears. Peel the pears and thinly slice. Dip the sliced pears in sugar, to coat.
  2. Heat a frying pan or skillet over medium heat. Place the slices of pear in the heated pan and cook 2-3 minutes a side, until the sugar caramelizes and the pears are golden. Remove the pears from the pan and set aside until ready to use.
  3. Prepare honey aioli. In a small bowl mix together until smooth, the mayonnaise, honey or Silan, salt, balsamic vinegar and grated lemon zest. Set aside until ready to use.
  4. Prepare the Redefine Premium burgers Heat 2 tbsp. of oil in a large skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat. Cook the burgers for 6 min in a covered pan, flipping them from time to time, until they are nicely browned and cooked through. You may refer to the cooking instructions found on the product packaging as a guide.
  5. Lightly toast the burger buns.
  6. Crumble the blue cheese into a small bowl.
  7. Build your burgers. Generously spread the toasted buns with honey aioli. Line the bottom of each bun with lettuce. Top with a burger, followed by sliced red onion. Sprinkle with crumbled blue cheese and finish with slices of caramelized pear. We recommend drizzling the pears with honey or Silan. Crown with the second half of the bun. Serve with a side of fries and aioli.
  8. Bon Appetit!
