Preparation

  1. Heat a large saucepan over medium heat and add the olive oil, garlic, hot pepper and fresh oregano. Sauté until the garlic is fragrant and starts to color.
  2. Add the tomato cubes and stir to combine.  Reduce heat to a simmer and continue cooking for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add the tomato paste, sweet paprika, salt and sugar. Stir to combine.
  4. Cover pan with a lid and continue to simmer for an additional 10 min.
  5. Heat 24g (1 ½ tbsps.) of olive oil in a clean medium saucepan, over medium heat.
  6. Brown the onions in the hot oil.
  7. Add the Redefine Beef and cook stirring for 3-4 mins, until browned.
  8. Add the sweet paprika, black pepper, Baharat and salt, stir to combine.
  9. Combine the New-Meat™️ mixture with the tomato sauce, stir and adjust the seasoning.  Simmer the combined sauce for 5 minutes to unify the flavors.
  10. While the Bolognese simmers, cook 400g pasta according to the manufacturers’ instructions.
  11. Drain the pasta and stir into the Bolognese sauce. If you prefer, you may plate a bowl of pasta and ladle the sauce on top. Serve.
